It seems the era of paying exorbitant prices for a used 2023 Corvette Z06 is finally coming to a close. Even lightly used models with minimal mileage are no longer commanding premiums. This shift in the market is a welcome change, in my opinion.

I’ve never been a fan of the pricing strategy surrounding the Z06. Despite its impressive performance upgrades in C8 form, the significant increase in price from previous generations is hard to justify. Back in 2015, the starting MSRP for the previous-gen Z06 was a much more reasonable $78,995. In contrast, the new Z06 starts at $112,700, and the trend of flipping them for profit after purchase has been perplexing.

Externally, it boasts a Torch Red colorway, Carbon Aero Package, LED headlights, side air intakes, rear parking sensors, and 20” and 21” carbon fiber wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires and Brembo brakes. Additionally, it features a front-axle lift system and a Z07 suspension.

Inside, it offers heated, ventilated, power-adjustable GT1 bucket seats in Jet Black leather, a Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a head-up display, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, among other amenities.

Under the hood lies a 5.5-liter LT6 V8 with 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, propelling power to the rear wheels. Despite its impressive specs, the owner held onto it, refusing to part ways for anything less than their desired price.
