Dodge says goodbye to the Challenger car model without talking about what will come next. They want to keep the famous name for later. This happens as they make the last Challengers and send them out from the factory.

The Challenger’s production era built on the L platform comes to a close at the Stellantis factory in Brampton, Ontario. The last model, a 2023 SRT Demon 170, painted in Pitch Black, boasts a mighty 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine, delivering a staggering 900 horsepower and 810 pound-feet of torque.

The SRT Demon 170’s performance is so exceptional that it’s been banned from drag racing by the National Hot Rod Association unless equipped with additional safety features.

Its production at the state-of-the-art facility in Ontario marked the end of an era for the iconic muscle car. Stellantis’s decision to transition the Brampton plant towards flexible architecture aligns with its electrification plans.

The Windsor Assembly Plant will see the production of the all-new Dodge Charger Daytona EV, marking a pivotal moment in the brand’s evolution.

With investments in electrification and the promise of groundbreaking models on the horizon, Dodge enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the future while cherishing the legacy of the Challenger. As the automotive world evolves, the spirit of the Challenger lives on in the hearts of fans worldwide.
