Lebanon Ford, a dealership in Ohio, has been getting attention for years by offering affordable upgrades to the basic Ford Mustang GT models (known as the 300A). They had success selling packages for under $40,000 for the S550 models.
Now, they’ve worked on the newer S650 Mustang and introduced the 2024 LFP Supercharged Mustang, priced at $49,995. The previous S550 version had 727 horsepower, but cars have improved since then. With the new LFP Mustang, you get 810 horsepower, which should give you an edge over cars like the Hellcat Redeye or the first-gen Demon (if they haven’t been modified).
The LFP Supercharged Mustang package includes a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, a 92-millimeter throttle body, upgraded fuel injectors from the S550 GT500’s Predator engine, and a high-flow cold air intake. It’s claimed that these upgrades can support engines producing over 1,800 horsepower.
With 93-octane fuel, the Mustang’s Coyote engine can reach 810 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. Plus, there’s a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty for the whole powertrain. It’s an impressive offer for just under $50,000.
However, it’s important to note that this upgrade package may not be legal in all states due to emissions regulations. If you prefer a higher trim level like the Dark Horse, you can add $12,000 to the base price of the Mustang GT. This pricing is for the base model with a manual transmission.
If you want an automatic or a different trim, you can choose it on the dealer’s website and add $12,000 for the upgrade package. This is still a good deal compared to other options, like the 2024 Shelby Super Snake, which will likely cost much more than $50,000.
