The production of the Ram 1500 TRX commenced in December 2020 and continued until February this year, building on the success of the Ram Rebel TRX concept from 2016. Serving as Stellantis’ response to the Ford F-150 Raptor, the TRX significantly impacted the pickup market, offering formidable performance capabilities.
While the TRX has found success in the used car market, a recent auction failed to secure a buyer for a specific model, despite its impressive specifications and optional features. Featuring a Billet Silver Metallic exterior and equipped with various enhancements, including 18-inch alloy wheels, TRX graphics, and off-road style running boards, this TRX model presents a compelling package for enthusiasts.
The interior boasts the TRX Level 1 Equipment Group, adding luxurious touches like leather-trimmed bucket seats, heated steering wheel, and advanced technology features such as the Uconnect system and Trailer Tow Group.
Under the hood lies a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine, delivering 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling impressive acceleration and performance figures.
Despite its substantial weight, the TRX accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and covers a quarter mile in 12.9 seconds, showcasing its remarkable speed and agility for a vehicle of its size.
