“Agent Orange” has taken on a new, positive meaning at Roadster Shop with their latest Chevrolet creation from the iconic Tri-Five era. The 210, originally a mid-range Chevrolet model produced between 1953 and 1957, has been transformed into a fresh build for a father-and-son duo after an initial project didn’t meet their expectations due to mismatched chassis and suspension parts.
The “Agent Orange” nickname comes from its striking orange and white dual-tone paint job, giving it a classic Tri-Five appearance. But the transformation is more than skin deep. Roadster Shop started with a SPEC chassis, providing a solid foundation for a ’55 Chevrolet that now performs as well as it looks.
Under the hood is an LT5 supercharged V8 engine, delivering 755 horsepower, equivalent to the previous-generation Corvette ZR1. Along with the LT5, the build features a SPEC chassis, a 10L90 transmission, Fikse chrome wheels, and Baer brakes with a front six-piston caliper setup.
Roadster Shop didn’t stop at performance; they also reworked the interior. The custom tan and white color scheme includes updated gauge clusters and seats, offering a blend of modern style and vintage charm. The “Agent Orange” may not retain the original 210’s simplicity, but its transformation is remarkable.
