The Callum Skye is a versatile crossover designed for everything from grocery runs to off-road adventures, as long as those adventures are within 170 miles (274 km) of a charging station.
The Skye’s standard 42 kWh battery offers this range, but with the optional ultra-fast charging battery, you can recharge in just ten minutes.
Equipped with electric motors powering all four wheels, the Skye is ready for any terrain. It’s compact, measuring 4,047 mm in length and 1,900 mm in width, and lightweight at 1,150 kg (2,535 pounds), allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under four seconds.
Until now, these details have only been on paper, but Callum is set to reveal the first running prototype of the Skye at the Concours on Savile Row in London this week.
Savile Row, known for bespoke tailoring, occasionally hosts events celebrating the intersection of automotive and sartorial excellence.
The Skye is a 2+2, featuring front sports seats and a rear bench suitable only for children. The interior includes a typical layout with a steering wheel in front of digital gauges and a touchscreen display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A central console, resembling a pillar, separates the front seats and houses various controls, including those for the HVAC system.
With the design nearly complete, Callum has opened the order books for Skye. It won’t be cheap, with prices ranging from £80,000 to £110,000 ($101,000 to $140,000). Reserving a Skye requires a deposit of £500 ($635). More details on different versions will be released later this year.
