Jeep is gearing up to release the new 2024 Wagoneer S, but die-hard fans won’t fully embrace its inaugural battery-electric SUV until it boasts lifted knobby tires. The Wagoneer S Trailhawk, showcased here in concept form, aims to reassure loyalists that this EV remains true to Jeep’s adventurous spirit. There’s a strong possibility that this concept will transition into reality sooner rather than later.
The Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept epitomizes the marriage of electric innovation and Jeep’s iconic SUV lineage. Harnessing the thrill of electric propulsion, this concept promises unparalleled performance, seamless 4xe capability, and instantaneous torque, all while staying true to the essence of adventure that defines the Jeep brand.
Venturing off the beaten path takes on new dimensions with the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept. Built upon the foundation of the production model, it promotes off-road exploration to unprecedented heights.
This trail-ready SUV is enhanced with Rock mode and an electronic rear-axle locker alongside the standard Selec-Terrain system, ensuring no terrain remains unconquered. Coupled with rugged 31.5-inch all-terrain tires, it’s primed to tackle any adventure with unwavering confidence.
Crafted with a keen focus on capability, the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept boasts a robust exterior design tailored for the toughest terrains. Its lifted suspension and aggressive front and rear profiles, adorned with heavy-duty tow hooks and functional air extractors, speak volumes about its off-road prowess. The signature seven-slot illuminated grille, Storm Gray metallic accents, and anti-glare hood decal underscore its rugged persona.
At the same time, unique exterior features like front and rear orange tow hooks and laser-cut aluminum roof rack set it apart as the ultimate adventure companion. Step inside the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept, and you’re greeted with an interior designed for the thrill of the journey. Soft surfaces wrapped in Mantis Green synthetic material, complemented by meteorite-inspired real stone veneer and Storm dark metallic accents, create a sanctuary of adventure.
The redesigned octagonal steering wheel, equipped with tactical-inspired grip sections, ensures precise control on any terrain, while the instrument panel’s cross-car grab bar adds stability for off-road adventures.
With a focus on adaptability, the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept introduces a new modular cargo management system, offering reconfigurable elastic straps for customized gear storage. The center console features ample storage, a wireless phone charger, and multiple USB outlets, catering to the needs of modern explorers.
At this point, Jeep isn’t categorizing the Trailhawk solely as electric. Following a backtrack on initial plans to offer the Wagoneer S as an EV exclusively.
This suggests the potential for incorporating the inline-six engine from its STLA Large platform counterpart, the Dodge Charger, which will be available in both gas and EV variants. Such an approach could also be adopted for the Wagoneer S Trailhawk. Regardless of its power source, anticipation is high for putting this vehicle to the test in rugged terrain.
