Subaru’s latest WRX tS follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the BRZ tS, offering a blend of visual upgrades, a refined chassis, and several enhancements. A key feature is the newly tuned STI suspension system, which now includes electronically controlled dampers and recalibrated tuning.
This allows drivers to switch between Comfort, Normal, and Sport modes using the Drive Mode Selector, a feature previously exclusive to the GT model. Inside, the car features a modern 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and stylish blue accents throughout the cabin.
The Recaro front seats come with eight-way power adjustment and Ultrasuede upholstery in black with blue accents, complete with ‘WRX tS’ embossing on the headrests and floor mats, enhancing the sporty appeal.
The updated Subaru 11.6-inch infotainment system now includes wireless smartphone integration, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM among its features. Notably, the moonroof has been omitted to accommodate helmet use and reduce weight.
Safety is a priority, with Subaru’s Eyesight Package offering lane departure warning, pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, and other advanced driver-assistance features. Under the hood, the WRX tS maintains its 2.4-liter Boxer engine, producing 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Active torque vectoring remains standard, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience.
Subaru plans to debut the 2025 WRX tS at the Wicked Big Meet, with availability at dealerships nationwide in the first quarter of the following year. While pricing details are yet to be announced, it’s expected to be higher than the current WRX GT, offering enthusiasts a superior driving experience.
