Cadillac had over 20 distinct colors in its 1958 range, but despite its popularity at the time, this stunning metallic pink wasn’t available from the factory. Despite gray being a popular color in 1958, the car’s interior is all grey, giving it a distinctive look.
Standard luxury features include power windows and door locks, and the car has been further upgraded with six-way power bucket seats with storage armrests and a custom console with cup holders, diverging from the typical 1958 Cadillac setup.
A Dakota Digital display, a mainstay of restomod projects, updates the dashboard. A comparable-sized LS engine, producing a powerful 345 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, has taken the place of the vehicle’s original 364 cubic inch (6.0-liter) engine under the hood.
This engine is derived from an LQ9, a high-performance Vortec 6000 truck engine that was available for use in the GMC Sierra Denali, Chevrolet Silverado SS, and earlier Escalades from 2002 to 2006.
A bigger aluminum radiator with two electric fans has been replaced to provide greater cooling, and a pink Cadillac embroidery on a specially upholstered panel gives a unique touch.
