As it nears its 70th year in 2024, this Studebaker exemplifies exceptional care and preservation. With a stunning white-over-pink exterior and an immaculate three-tone interior, it has been mostly kept in a garage, maintaining its outstanding condition.

The car’s second owner, who took possession in 2012, reveals that the original owner drove it infrequently between 1955 and 2001. With a mere 38,337 miles recorded, this Studebaker has averaged just 556 miles annually, underscoring its minimal usage and pristine state.

While the paint may have had touch-ups, the car’s whole condition is impressive. The engine bay remains largely original, housing the numbers-matching V8 powerplant.

The Studebaker Commander, a long-running nameplate since 1927, was known for its speed records and distinctive post-WW2 design by Raymond Loewy.

The 1955 model, part of a more aerodynamic lineup, featured a unique wrap-around chrome grille. This particular Regal four-door sedan is one of only 9,985 units built in 1955 and likely one of fewer than 100 still operational today.
