Revealed at the 1988 Italian Grand Prix, the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition represented the final iteration of this iconic model.
This limited edition, which was redesigned by Horacio Pagani, honored the storied Lamborghini that was introduced in 1974. Production surged when Chrysler was in charge, yielding close to 2,000 units, of which 657 were the 25th Anniversary Edition.
This version featured prominent rear air intakes, distinctive bumpers, and large Pirelli tires on 15-inch forged alloy wheels. One particularly well-preserved 1990 Countach 25th Anniversary, essentially a time capsule, has clocked just 1,000 kilometers (621 miles).
Its red exterior, Champagne leather interior, and intact Lamborghini logos on the pedals highlight its excellent condition. The 5.2-liter V12 engine, producing 449 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, remains virtually new.
It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 183 mph. Race car driver Gary Klutt’s test drive revealed its responsive throttle, sharp handling, and impressive agility despite its age. Recently sold by Legendary Motorcar, this model’s average price is around $564,705, with condition, mileage, and ownership history being key factors in its valuation.
