The 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV is coming with some changes, especially in the prices. For the launch versions, the prices will be a bit different from last year’s models. The LT AWD will cost $48,995, which is $1,200 less, while the RS AWD will be $54,295, $300 less.
But, there are more trims coming later that haven’t been priced yet, like the LT and RS with front-wheel drive, the RS with rear-wheel drive, and the SS with all-wheel drive.
However, these lower prices might not mean savings for buyers. It seems like Chevy is changing some options, making buyers pay more for less. For example, in the 2024 Blazer EV LT AWD, some packages were included. But in 2025, one of these packages, the Comfort and Convenience Package, will be optional. This means buyers will have to pay extra for features like heated seats and a powered liftgate.
If we compare the prices, a 2025 LT AWD with the same features as 2024 would cost about $1,095 more. Plus, buyers might need to buy a charge cord separately, which adds to the cost.
The RS AWD won’t have a standard package like before, so even though the price is $300 less, buyers might end up paying $2,320 more than in 2024.
Some other changes include a different interior fabric and some package options. For example, a Midnight/Sport Edition Package for the LT will change some exterior features.
If these changes don’t sound appealing, people might consider leasing a 2024 model, which could end up being cheaper in monthly payments than the 2025 model.
