Prices climb to nearly $102,000 for a top-of-the-line R1S, boasting a performance upgrade, dual motors, a large battery pack, and larger wheels. For $5,000, drivers can enhance performance with an in-house developed, oil-cooled Enduro permanent magnet drive unit, adding significant horsepower and torque.

Gear up for a jolt of electric power! The 2025 Rivian R1S and R1T boast impressive upgrades, including a tri-motor setup that launches them from 0 to 60 mph in a scorching 2.9 seconds.

Rivian promises a quieter ride thanks to these new motors, enhancing cabin comfort. Deliveries for these invigorated electric vehicles have begun, although some configurations might require a wait until fall.

The excitement doesn’t stop there quad-motor R1S and R1T models are slated for next year, boasting even more power and unique design cues. While pricing details for these ultimate performers are under wraps, their specs are sure to impress.

Packed with over 600 upgrades, the Rivian R1S and R1T electric vehicles have received a significant refresh addressing customer feedback and pushing the boundaries of electric truck and SUV performance.

A smoother ride is achieved with a completely revamped suspension system featuring new air springs, dampers, and bushings, resulting in a quieter and more comfortable cabin. Efficiency is enhanced through a new in-house heat pump that utilizes waste heat from the motors to regulate battery temperature and cabin climate, eliminating the prior reliance on an electric resistance heater.

These comprehensive changes position the R1S and R1T as even more compelling options in the electric vehicle market, with potential price cuts for the base models equipped with LFP batteries. While enthusiasts eagerly dissect the plethora of improvements, one thing is certain: Rivian has set a new standard for electric trucks and SUVs.
