Attention Karma Revero owners! There’s a safety recall affecting all Revero trims, including the GS-6, GS-6S, GS-6L, GTS, and GT.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has identified a potential issue with the turn signals. Here’s what you need to know: a glitch in communication with the vehicle’s control module can cause the front turn signals to stay on even when you’ve deactivated them.
This problem isn’t permanent and resolved with regular use or restarting the car. While the issue hasn’t been widely reported on the road, tests show it might happen a few times per month. If you haven’t been contacted by Karma yet, take initiative and reach out to them to schedule a repair.
There’s an issue with some Karma Revero models’ turn signals. Owners should be aware of a potential problem indicated by a warning light on the dashboard and a turn signal blinking faster than usual.
To rectify this, Karma-authorized dealers will replace the headlamps and update the software free of charge. The recall encompasses all 269 Revero vehicles manufactured between July 2019 and December 2022.
While no accidents or injuries have been reported, Karma will notify owners by July 25th, 2024. In the meantime, concerned Revero owners can contact Karma or the NHTSA for more information.
