Revving up the excitement even before it hits dealerships, the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is generating a buzz. While deliveries haven’t begun in North America or Europe (reservations only for now), the GTD is turning heads. Praises go to Ford for transforming the track-dominating Mustang GT3 into a road-legal muscle car.

With a targeted horsepower exceeding the 650-hp Chevy Camaro ZL1, the GTD boasts superior international racetrack capabilities compared to the drag-strip king, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

Europe even got a special treat the GTD Carbon Series with a new Performance Pack. However, the interior design has caused a stir of a different kind some find it too similar to existing Mustang trims, despite the addition of carbon fiber accents and a few exclusive controls.

While the new Ford Mustang S650 has been met with praise, some enthusiasts yearn for a mid-engine variant to rival the high-performance offerings of the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray family.

This absence hasn’t gone unnoticed by the digital car design community, with creators like Rostislav Prokop stepping in to fill the void. Prokop’s vision reworks the S650 Mustang, placing the iconic Coyote V8 behind the driver and beneath the rear window.
