Pioneering the electric vehicle (EV) market, Tesla proved that emissions-free cars could seamlessly integrate into everyday life.
However, a question mark hangs over the future of one of its flagship models, the Model S. Introduced in 2008 and hitting the road in 2012, the Model S hasn’t seen a significant overhaul in eight years.
While it’s received piecemeal upgrades, it now faces a barrage of competition from cutting-edge vehicles like the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and Lucid Air Sapphire.
As a result, many anticipate a complete redesign for the Model S, ushering in a new era for Tesla’s foundational electric sedan.
Taking a visionary peek into Tesla’s future, digital artist Vince Burlapp (vburlapp) has reimagined a revamped Model S.
His design merges a sleek, futuristic aesthetic with the classic fastback sedan silhouette, offering a take on the next-generation Model S that leans towards a more traditional, full-size business sedan look.
Burlapp’s creative vision extends beyond the Model S, encompassing other potential additions to Tesla’s lineup. Inspired by recent company teasers, he proposes a compelling priority: a more affordable sub-$30,000 electric vehicle.
Additionally, he envisions a three-row SUV slotting in between the Model Y and Model X, further expanding Tesla’s SUV offerings. Burlapp even dares to speculate on the eventual production of the much-anticipated CyberCab, a project known to spark excitement for Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
