BMW revealed the latest M5, tuners are still working their magic on the previous generation. This time, G-Power turned the already impressive M5 CS into a hypercar-rivaling monster.
The stock M5 CS boasted a twin-turbo 4.4L V8 with 626 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, capable of a 0-62 mph sprint in 3 seconds and a 190 mph top speed. But G-Power wasn’t satisfied.
The tuned version pictured here cranks out a mind-blowing 887 horsepower and 774 lb-ft of torque, likely shaving tenths of a second off the 0-62 mph time (although G-Power hasn’t revealed the exact figure). And that’s not all – G-Power has an even more extreme upgrade available.
Transforming the already rapid BMW M5 CS into a true performance monster, G-Power’s tuning package unlocks a range of power upgrades.
Enthusiasts can choose from a menu of options, starting at a respectable 690 horsepower and reaching an earth-shattering 808 horsepower.
Interestingly, the top-of-the-line option sits comfortably in the price range of a BMW M3, making it a tempting proposition for drivers seeking unparalleled power without breaking the bank entirely.
But G-Power’s expertise goes beyond just engine tweaks. They’ve given the M5 CS a comprehensive visual makeover as well.
A vented carbon fiber hood replaces the stock unit, adding a touch of both form and function. A prominent rear wing further accentuates the car’s aggressive stance, leaving no doubt about its capabilities.
While subtlety might not be the first word that comes to mind, G-Power’s modifications manage to enhance the car’s presence without appearing excessive.
