Debuting just three years ago, the Kia EV6 is already receiving a refresh for the 2025 model year, solidifying its place at the forefront of electric vehicle design.
This mid-cycle update goes beyond aesthetics, leveraging the EV6’s shared platform with other cutting-edge electric vehicles from Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis.
The focus here is on enhancing the EV6’s visual appeal. The front receives a complete redesign, with new headlights inspired by futuristic concepts leading the charge.
The transformation continues with a sportier look thanks to revised bumpers and a restyled lower grille. The updated design extends to the rear, where a revised light bar and new alloy wheels complete the fresh look.
Benefiting from a larger battery pack, the 2025 Kia EV6 boasts an extended range. Rear-wheel drive variants with 19-inch wheels can now travel up to 307 miles on a single charge, an improvement over the previous model’s 295 miles.
The car also supports DC fast charging, allowing a quick 18-minute recharge from 10 to 80 percent. Further enhancements include revised dampeners for a smoother ride.
Opting for the dual-motor variant grants you 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque, while the rear-wheel drive option offers 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Despite the mid-cycle refresh keeping the current Kia EV6 competitive, some car enthusiasts yearn for a new generation.
Designer Tedoradze.giorgi recently brought this desire to life with digital illustrations of a hypothetical next-generation electric crossover.
