Audi has revealed some exciting news for electric SUV enthusiasts with the announcement of the 2025 Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron.

While final pricing and detailed specs are still under wraps until deliveries begin in Q4, the early-range estimates are impressive.

The Q6 e-tron quattro boasts a class-leading 307 miles of range according to the EPA, putting it right up against the Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD’s 308 miles.

Both Audi offerings boast strong performance, with the Q6 e-tron reaching 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and the SQ6 e-tron even quicker at 4.1 seconds.

While pricing remains elusive, expect it to be higher than Tesla’s $48,000 starting price for the Model Y Long Range AWD.

Audi is aiming to broaden the appeal of its electric vehicles with the arrival of the 2025 Q6 e-tron in late 2024.

This mid-size luxury SUV, alongside its performance-oriented SQ6 e-tron sibling, is the first built on Audi’s new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture.

This platform, along with the Q6 e-tron itself, represents a significant leap forward for Audi’s electric vehicle technology, boasting advancements in motor and battery design, a next-generation infotainment system, and innovative lighting tech.

With DC fast-charging capabilities of up to 270 kW, the Q6 e-tron promises a user-friendly and efficient electric driving experience.

Furthermore, Audi plans to expand the Q6 e-tron lineup in 2025 to include a more affordable rear-wheel-drive variant, a sportier Sportback model, and even high-performance RS versions, all destined for the US market.
