Following its unconventional US debut in 2023, the Lotus Emeya, a four-door electric companion to the Eletre SUV, is finally gracing European shores with its configurable presence.

While American customers patiently await their turn, European car enthusiasts can now explore the intricacies of customizing this high-performance EV all while bracing themselves for the hefty price tag.

Starting at €109,685 (roughly equivalent to $118,293), the Emeya packs a punch with its twin-motor layout, generating a formidable 603 horsepower.

This translates to exhilarating acceleration, propelling the car from a standstill to 62 mph in a mere 4.1 seconds. But power isn’t the only story the Emeya boasts an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph, promising a thrilling driving experience.

Boasting a futuristic design and a luxurious interior, the Lotus Emeya is a compelling option for those seeking a spacious electric sedan.

With a maximum WLTP-rated range of 379 miles, the Emeya promises excellent performance, but keep in mind the real-world range might be closer to 300 miles.

Stepping inside, the cabin is loaded with tech and comfort features, including a 15-inch infotainment display, a head-up display with augmented reality, and a 1,380-watt sound system.

Multiple options allow for further customization, such as larger wheels, a panoramic roof, and advanced driver-assistance features. Those seeking the most thrilling ride can opt for the Emeya R, which rockets from 0 to 62 mph in under 2.8 seconds.

However, this high-performance version sacrifices some range, with a maximum WLTP-rated range of 301 miles. Regardless of the model you choose, the Emeya faces stiff competition from established electric carmakers like Tesla and Porsche.
