Turkish virtual automotive designer Evrim Ozgun claims his digital creations hold an uncanny resemblance to the designs of two luxury SUVs: the Cadillac Escalade and the Lamborghini Urus.
The Urus, known for its ferocious performance, recently revealed its first-ever plug-in hybrid variant, the Urus SE.
This electrifying iteration boasts a world tour under its belt, having traversed continents and dazzled audiences from China to the French Riviera.
Packing a mighty 789 horsepower, the Urus SE explodes from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds and rockets to a staggering top speed of 194 mph. Despite its impressive powertrain, the Urus SE’s design remains strikingly similar to the original Urus and its S and Performante iterations.
This lack of visual distinction has sparked calls for a more substantial aesthetic overhaul to complement the Urus’s technological leap. Thankfully, even if Lamborghini isn’t considering a facelift, Ozgun has stepped in with his vision for a refreshed Urus design.
A digital artist has been on a roll, reimagining luxury SUVs in the fascinating world of CGI. Their first subject was the Lamborghini Urus, which underwent a radical transformation.
The artist completely revamped the Urus’s design, incorporating significant aerodynamic upgrades, one-of-a-kind front and rear lighting signatures, and more.
But the creative flow didn’t stop there. The artist then set their sights on the behemoth Cadillac Escalade ESV, giving it a CGI makeover of its own.
This digital customization sparked an even more ambitious idea: a collaborative digital showcase featuring both the revamped Urus and Escalade.
Unbound by the constraints of reality, the virtual SUVs truly go wild with their styling. The Urus boasts audacious taillights emblazoned with four bold “x” shapes, while the Escalade’s imposing front fascia features LED DRLs that wouldn’t look out of place as lightsabers in a Star Wars scene.
In the real world, however, there’s plenty of exciting news for both Lamborghini and Cadillac aficionados. Lamborghini is on the cusp of launching the much-anticipated Urus SE, a mind-bending plug-in hybrid super-SUV.
