While the US auto market sputtered in the first half of 2024, with sales barely budging, Asian carmakers stepped on the gas. Toyota remains a strong contender for the sales crown, trailing leader General Motors by just over 100,000 units.

Meanwhile, American Honda defied the market trend with a sales jump of over 9%. Even Nissan, sometimes seen as a less exciting brand, experienced a nearly 2% increase.

South Korean carmaker Hyundai also enjoyed a positive showing, reaching nearly 400,000 vehicles sold in the first six months, thanks in part to a splashy lineup of new offerings.

While there’s a buzz about the next Hyundai Palisade design, opinions vary. shots reveal camouflaged prototypes and digital car designers are busy imagining the future Palisade. Some envision a boxy look inspired by the Santa Fe, while others dream of a Range Rover-esque elegance.

Javier Oquendo, a 3D artist known for his “jota_automotive” creations, has a different take. He believes a full redesign might be further down the road. Instead, he’s set his sights on a high-performance version.

Enter the Hyundai Palisade N a hypothetical N division flagship that would outrank both existing CUVs and N models. It’s likely just a concept, especially considering the imminent launch of the second-generation Palisade, but it’s an exciting concept nonetheless.

Taking inspiration from Hyundai’s N performance line, a conceptual design reimagines the Hyundai Palisade as a sporty family hauler.

This hypothetical Palisade N boasts a complete aerodynamic overhaul, featuring an aggressively redesigned front bumper with functional air vents.

Blacked-out accents, including the grille with a carbon fiber surround and headlight enclosures, enhance the vehicle’s aggressive stance.

Further aerodynamic tweaks come in the form of wider black fender flares, sculpted side skirts, and a prominent rear spoiler with a carbon fiber diffuser.

Quad exhaust tips hint at a potential performance upgrade, while enlarged brakes with red calipers on all four wheels suggest improved stopping power.
