Despite a significant price jump in 1977, Chevrolet’s Corvette sales remained strong. The base price climbed over $8,000, but that didn’t deter buyers, with production reaching nearly 49,200 units.

This particular Corvette, offered by West Coast Classics, boasts several rare features that collectors will appreciate. Underlying the hood is a coveted L82 engine, a 350ci unit generating 210 horsepower.

This option added a hefty $495 to the price tag, and only a select 6,148 buyers opted for the extra power, making L82-equipped Corvettes just 12.5% of 1977 production.

Another rarity is the four-speed manual transmission, chosen by a mere 2,060 Corvette owners that year, representing only 4.2% of total production.

Finally, the Corvette’s eye-catching yellow paint, Corvette Bright Yellow, was another uncommon selection, with just 1,941 Corvettes sporting this color in 1977.

Bidding starts at $19,875, but there’s a reserve price in play. Don’t worry though, the final selling price is likely to be close to the opening bid.

If you’d rather skip the online bidding frenzy, a Buy It Now option is available for $26,500. Located in Torrance, California, this Corvette is available for viewing before you place your bid.
