Marking a shift in design philosophy, BMW is unifying its aesthetic language under the banner of the Vision Neue Klasse and Neue Klasse X concepts. This signals a move away from the recent trend of disjointed design elements across different models.

the controversial grilles on the M3 and M4 contrasted starkly with the squinting headlights of the XM and 7 Series. This new direction aims to establish design coherence across the BMW lineup, including upcoming vehicles like the next X5.

Beyond the design language itself, these concepts have sparked considerable online buzz. Recent sightings of a camouflaged electric coupe sporting the Neue Klasse design fueled speculation about its identity.

Theories range from a next-generation i4 to a potential iZ replacement for the Z4, or even a revival of the legendary M1 in electric form. This speculative design sheds the disguise, showcasing a clear influence from the brand’s upcoming Neue Klasse platform.

Rather than a full-fledged M model, Sugar Chow, a virtual artist known as sugardesign_1, crafted a CGI rendering of a potential BMW electric GT. The design has sparked mixed reactions from fans, with some praising its aesthetics and others finding it overly bold or reminiscent of Tesla with a cyberpunk twist.

With the design based solely on leaked spy photos, details on the interior and powertrain remain a mystery. However, the future will undoubtedly reveal more as the first production model emerges, bringing Neue Klasse style and BMW’s latest electric vehicle technology to life.
