Debuting in 2018, the current Lincoln Navigator has graced roads for nearly seven years. While a 2022 refresh addressed some aspects, a more substantial revamp was highly anticipated.

Lincoln has answered those calls with a comprehensive redesign for the 2025 model year. Eagle-eyed car enthusiasts have captured camouflaged prototypes undergoing testing, offering valuable intel on the upcoming Navigator’s aesthetics. Taking inspiration from these sightings, digital artists have crafted intricate illustrations that provide a sneak peek into the future.

These renderings depict a transformation that goes beyond a mere cosmetic touch-up. They portray a complete metamorphosis that promises to redefine the design language of Lincoln’s luxurious flagship SUV. The focus here isn’t on minor tweaks, but rather a substantial overhaul that elevates the Navigator’s presence on the road.

Expect a bolder, more upright front end with a reshaped, imposing grille. The headlights, sporting a fresh design and slimmer profile, bear a slight resemblance to Volvo’s signature style. The lower bumper undergoes a complete redesign as well, featuring a prominent central air intake and new black accents.

Borrowing design cues from its smaller sibling, the Nautilus, the rear boasts stylish taillights that complement the revamped front. While the updates to the back are more subtle, a new set of wheels and a potentially refreshed color palette are expected to round out the mid-cycle refresh.

While Lincoln remains tight-lipped about the 2025 Navigator’s interior, rumors suggest it will borrow a design element from its sibling, the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. This could mean a wide, expansive touchscreen dominating the dashboard. Expect a general refresh inside the cabin with new upholstery options, trims, and possibly even a broader color palette.

Under the hood, the 2025 Navigator is expected to be a carryover from the previous year. That means a powerful 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

This setup delivers 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, offering impressive towing capability. Pricing for the outgoing Navigator started at $83,265 for the base Premiere trim, $95,695 for the Reserve, and $111,095 for the top-of-the-line Black Label.

Expect a slight bump in price for the upcoming 2025 model. With an official reveal likely on the horizon, it won’t be long before we see the undisguised Navigator in all its glory.
