Despite a promising product lineup refresh for Alfa Romeo, the brand’s parent company Stellantis is facing challenges in the US market. Stellantis’ sales figures for the second quarter reflect a significant drop, and the company has postponed releasing full financial results.

This news casts a shadow over Alfa Romeo’s recent efforts to regain a foothold in the American market. On the positive side, Alfa Romeo has demonstrably bolstered its offerings with a series of exciting new models.

The revitalized Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV boast a combination of style and performance that’s hard to beat. The brand’s debut of the Tonale marks a significant step forward, introducing its first-ever hybrid option.

Additionally, the ultra-limited 33 Stradale caters to a niche market of dedicated enthusiasts. Furthermore, European audiences have been treated to the new Alfa Romeo Junior, previously known as the Milano.

Looking ahead, anticipation for future Alfa Romeo offerings is palpable. The rumor mill churns with speculation, fueled by digital car content creators who eagerly envision potential new models. These creative minds are pushing boundaries, with some even proposing a foray into the unexpected territory of pickup trucks for Alfa Romeo.

This speculation highlights the brand’s potential to surprise and potentially redefine its image in the coming years. While the 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio received a recent refresh, rumors suggest the Italian automaker might be considering another update.

This comes after a relatively long period without major changes for both the Giulia and Stelvio. Designers like Nikita Chuicko, known online as kelsonik, haven’t wasted any time imagining what a second refresh might hold. Chuicko’s concept envisions a more aggressive Stelvio Quadrifoglio with a revised front fascia and aerodynamic tweaks.

However, this speculation coincides with news that Alfa Romeo is planning to pull the plug on the high-performance Quadrifoglio trims for Giulia and Stelvio in the United States. But fear not, American Alfa enthusiasts! A limited-edition opportunity remains available with the recently introduced Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport models.

These special editions come in extremely limited quantities, with only 72 units of the Giulia and 52 units of the Stelvio allocated for the US market. So, if you’re looking to snag a piece of Alfa Romeo’s performance history before it’s gone, act fast.
