While whispers suggest electric vehicles might be losing their luster, the industry is simply shifting gears. The future remains electric, with even iconic brands like Ferrari developing zero-emission vehicles, including a unique hatchback slated for release in 2026.
Tesla, a perennial leader in the EV space, shows no signs of slowing down. Fanatics eagerly await the revamped Model 3 (Highland), and speculation swirls about the facelifted Model Y (Juniper), despite Tesla’s insistence on a 2025 release.
Their focus? Delivering as many Cybertrucks as possible. Recent sales figures show May deliveries surpassed those of the Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T combined. This surge might explain the temporary backseat taken by the Model S and X, even with the Model X recently claiming the title of best three-row electric SUV on an 800-mile trek.
Theottle, a digital artist, has endeavored to imagine a future for the Tesla Model X. Although the battery-powered luxury crossover SUV known as the Model X has been available since 2015, Theottle isn’t holding up for an official announcement.
The Model X is given fresh life by its unauthorized makeover, which envisions a possible second generation for the 2025 or 2026 model year. The existing Model X’s minivan feel is gone with this redesign.
Instead, Theottle uses the Bentley Bentayga as a starting point, giving Tesla a more traditional crossover stance. This means increased ground clearance to tackle rougher terrain, along with design elements inspired by Tesla’s recent Model 3 refresh.
