Audi is shaking things up in the electric SUV market with the introduction of the Q4 35 e-tron, a new base model that expands the Q4 e-tron family and makes electric mobility more attainable. Offered in both the traditional SUV and the sportier Sportback body styles, the Q4 35 e-tron prioritizes practicality with a capable driving range.
Equipped with a 55 kWh battery pack, the SUV boasts a reach of 221 miles, while the Sportback can travel up to 227 miles on a single charge more than enough for daily commutes and errands. Additionally, the Q4 35 e-tron caters to busy lifestyles with its fast-charging capabilities.
The battery can be replenished to 80% capacity in a brisk 25 minutes, and a quick ten-minute charge provides up to 78 miles of range, perfect for topping up before hitting the road. Audi is enhancing its in-car technology with the introduction of the Audi Application Store for MMI systems.
This new feature allows drivers to access various apps directly on the car’s display, eliminating the need to connect a smartphone. Additionally, a complimentary 25GB data plan for the first year is included, provided by Cubic Telecom. Intriguingly, Audi has also announced the integration of ChatGPT into all Q4 e-tron models.
Currently, American consumers have access to the Q4 55 e-tron boasting 335 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 5 seconds. This variant comes with a larger 77 kWh battery pack and delivers an estimated driving range of 258 miles.
Trim levels for the 2024 Q4 55 e-tron in the US include Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige, with starting prices ranging from $55,200 to $62,200. The sportier Q4 Sportback 55 e-tron follows a similar trim structure with slightly higher prices.
