Prepping for a showroom debut in the next few months, the redesigned 2025 Lincoln Navigator steps into a lineup invigorated by contemporary aesthetics. The mid-size 2025 Aviator and compact 2025 Corsair both received makeovers, while the 2025 Nautilus marks a complete generational shift.

This strategic concentration on SUVs and crossovers exposes a clear distinction between Lincoln and its Ford sibling. Ford preserves a place for the legendary Mustang in its lineup, whereas Lincoln has eliminated sedans from the North American market. But fret no more, because the imaginative world of automotive CGI artists has intervened.

Vince Burlapp, a prolific digital car designer who thrives on envisioning cutting-edge models across the vast automotive world, has emerged as a key player. With a particular fondness for the Detroit Three, Burlapp’s recent artistic endeavors have centered around Cadillac, crafting dream vehicles within the digital world.

A car designer, itching to explore electric possibilities beyond familiar brands, turned his attention to Lincoln’s illustrious past. He envisioned a modern electric reincarnation of the Town Car a luxuriously silent powerhouse that would rewrite the rulebook for electric sedans.

This concept car rivaled the electric ambitions of Cadillac’s forthcoming Ultium+ lineup. But the designer’s vision didn’t stop there. Inspired by the Town Car’s potential revival, he imagined a sportier electric counterpart, reviving the Continental nameplate for a new generation.

This train of thought led him naturally to a grand finale: a full-size electric Lincoln Mark X coupe. The Mark series, originally an extension of the Continental line, enjoyed a successful run from the mid-20th century to the late 90s. Lincoln itself had attempted to recapture that magic with the MK9 concept car and the ill-fated Mark LT truck.

Drawing inspiration from these historical touchstones, the designer crafted a vision for a majestic electric coupe a sleek and silent American icon reborn for the 21st century. This virtual project effectively brought three legendary Lincolns the Town Car, Continental, and Mark X into the electric age, each reimagined to carve a unique niche in the luxury electric car market.
