The Chevrolet Suburban, a twelve-generation stalwart, continues to evolve. Fresh off the assembly line in Texas in July 2020, the latest iteration received a facelift for the 2025 model year. While not a tuner’s darling, the Suburban has caught Hennessey’s attention.
Their H650 package boosts the standard 6.2-liter V8’s 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque to an impressive 650 horsepower and 658 pound-feet.
This surge in power comes courtesy of a 3.0-liter supercharger, upgraded intercooler, stainless steel exhaust, revised crankcase ventilation, and recalibrated engine software.
Hennessey has transformed the Chevrolet Suburban into a performance behemoth with its H650 package. Rigorous testing ensures the claimed power and torque figures are accurate. The upgraded SUV flaunts custom badging and a numbered plaque, while a comprehensive warranty provides peace of mind.
However, owning this beast requires both Suburban keys and an additional $1,995 for larger tires if the stock wheels are under 22 inches. Performance wheels and brakes are optional extras.
The engine and exhaust upgrade costs $27,950, pushing the total price to $107,850 before additional costs. For perspective, a Cadillac Escalade-V offers similar performance for a higher starting price, though it’s been recently refreshed with a new exterior and a massive interior display.
