Cadillac is transforming its CT5-V Blackwing sedan into a dedicated track beast with the introduction of the Precision Package. This performance-oriented upgrade is designed to raise the car’s handling capabilities to new heights.
While the automaker has reused a previously released image to showcase the package, the focus remains on the underlying chassis enhancements. Stiffer springs, a reinforced front anti-roll bar, and redesigned suspension components combine to improve the car’s agility and responsiveness on the track.
Complementing these mechanical upgrades are recalibrated electronic systems and a high-performance carbon-ceramic brake package, ensuring optimal control and stopping power in demanding driving conditions.
Cadillac has unleashed its most potent creation yet with the 2025 CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package. Positioned as the pinnacle of Cadillac performance, this track-focused sedan is engineered to dominate the world’s toughest circuits.
Under the hood lies a formidable 6.2-liter supercharged V8, delivering 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic transmission.
To complement the raw power, the CT5-V Blackwing boasts advanced technologies like Launch Control, Magnetic Ride Control, and an electronic limited-slip differential. Beyond the engine, the sedan showcases a bold new design, featuring a redesigned grille, front fascia, and three striking color options.
Inside, a 33-inch touchscreen and an enhanced Performance Data Recorder cater to both driver and passenger. Production of the Precision Package is slated for early 2025, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
