Nissan has revitalized its Frontier pickup for 2025, addressing key areas to compete in the fiercely contested midsize truck market. The third-generation model, launched in 2021, receives a cosmetic overhaul, featuring a redesigned front end, new wheel options, and a striking Afterburn Orange paint color.

Inside, a larger touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and a power-adjustable driver’s seat raise comfort and convenience. To enhance the capability, Nissan has expanded load bed configurations, increased towing capacity, and equipped the Frontier with a telescopic steering wheel for improved ergonomics.

These refinements aim to bolster the Frontier’s appeal to both work and leisure customers while maintaining its rugged character. Nissan has significantly raised the 2025 Frontier, addressing key areas of customer feedback. Comfort and convenience are now priorities, with power-adjustable seats becoming standard on higher trims, a long-awaited telescoping steering wheel added across the board, and a wireless charger plus a 360-degree camera enhancing the Frontier SL.

The practical 6-foot bed, once limited to higher-end models, is now accessible on all but the base trim, making the Frontier more versatile for work or play. Safety is bolstered by a suite of driver-assistance features including lane departure and blind-spot warnings, rear cross-traffic alert, high-beam assist, and intelligent cruise control.

Off-road capability is enhanced with an expanded Off-Road Mode for the Around View Monitor, providing better visibility at low speeds. Towing capacity has been increased by 500 pounds, expanding the Frontier’s capabilities.

While the proven 3.8-liter V6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission remain, the PRO-X and PRO-4X trims continue to cater to off-road enthusiasts with all-terrain tires, Bilstein suspension, and aggressive styling.
