Volkswagen has expanded its T-Roc lineup in the UK with the introduction of the range-topping T-Roc R Black Edition. This special edition model builds upon the already potent T-Roc R, adding a host of visual and equipment upgrades.
Darkened exterior accents, including black mirror caps, roof rails, and 19-inch alloy wheels, create a sinister look. Inside, a panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, heated front seats, and a premium Beats audio system enhance comfort and convenience.
Under the hood, the familiar 2.0-liter TSI engine delivers 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox, propelling the compact crossover from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 155 mph.
Volkswagen has announced pricing for the eagerly anticipated T-Roc R Black Edition, set to hit the market on August 15th. This top-tier compact crossover commands a premium, with an on-the-road price of £44,250, including VAT.
While the Black Edition ushers in a new level of luxury and performance, Volkswagen has also made the standard T-Roc R more accessible, reducing its starting price by £2,550 to £43,000. Beyond the high-performance R models, the T-Roc lineup offers a range of options to suit different budgets and preferences.
The Black Edition trim kicks off at £35,390, followed by the R-Line at £34,405, Style at £31,220, and Match at £28,505. For those seeking the most affordable entry point, the Life variant starts at £28,330 and comes equipped with a 1.0L TSI engine and manual gearbox.
