Real estate magnate Manny Khoshbin recently had the opportunity to unleash the beast within the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, courtesy of his friend. The experience left the seasoned entrepreneur both exhilarated and humbled by the car’s sheer, unbridled power.

Capable of hurtling from zero to sixty miles per hour in a staggering 1.66 seconds and devouring a quarter-mile in just 8.91 seconds at a blistering 151 mph, the Demon 170 is a testament to American automotive engineering at its most extreme.

With a colossal 1,025 horsepower engine propelling a hefty 4,275-pound vehicle, the car’s launch is nothing short of spectacular, as the front wheels momentarily defy gravity while the rear tires grip the asphalt with ferocious tenacity.

Such extraordinary performance has even prompted the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) to impose strict safety regulations, including mandatory roll cages and parachutes, for the Demon 170 to compete on the drag strip.

Interestingly, the car’s owner, automotive journalist Karl Brauer, opted for a luxurious configuration, despite the Demon’s raw, performance-oriented nature. A sunroof, premium leather interior, and an upgraded sound system adorn this particular model, creating a unique blend of opulence and adrenaline.

The car’s Plum Crazy paint job, a nod to Dodge’s heritage, further enhances its striking appearance. Brauer’s decision to fuel the car with E85 ensures that the full 1,025 horsepower is unleashed, making every drive an unforgettable experience.

Manny Khoshbin, a connoisseur of automotive opulence with a garage boasting the likes of a 1,500-horsepower Bugatti Chiron Hermes Edition and a 1,036-horsepower McLaren Speedtail, found himself unexpectedly humbled.

His latest acquisition, the Challenger SRT Demon 170, was a brute force of nature disguised as a muscle car. Its raw, unbridled power was a stark contrast to the refined, technological behemoths that typically occupied his driveway.

As Khoshbin pressed the accelerator, the Demon lunged forward with a ferocity that even he, a man accustomed to extraordinary performance, found startling. The car’s tires struggled to maintain traction, a testament to the sheer force unleashed beneath the hood.

A wry smile crept across his face as he grappled with the car’s immense power. It was a challenge, a thrill, and a potential recipe for disaster, all rolled into one exhilarating package. For a base price of $96,666 a number that seemed almost deliberately provocative the Demon was a tantalizing proposition.

This particular model, adorned with additional options, carried a price tag of $133,000. Yet, despite the hefty cost, Khoshbin was undeniably fascinated by the allure of taming such a raw, untamed beast. It was a machine that demanded respect, and Khoshbin, it seemed, was eager to accept the challenge.
