Kia has officially revealed pricing for its all-new K4 sedan, marking the next step following its initial introduction a few months ago. The Korean automaker is now inviting consumers to weigh the value proposition of the latest addition to its lineup. The 2025 K4 arrives in five trim levels LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and range-topping GT-Line Turbo with starting prices ranging from $21,990 to $28,090, respectively.
A mandatory $1,155 destination charge brings the total cost of entry to $23,145. Comparing the K4 to its predecessor, the Forte, reveals a significant price increase. The base K4 LX commands a $2,000 premium over the equivalent Forte trim, with the gap widening as buyers ascend the trim ladder.
The LXS, GT-Line, and former GT models carry price tags of $22,990, $25,190, and $28,090, respectively. While the K4 promises enhancements and additional features, potential buyers will need to carefully assess whether these justify the increased expenditure compared to the outgoing Forte.
Kia has adopted a rather mysterious approach to revealing the 2025 K4 sedan for the market, providing scant details on trim levels and standard features. However, the automaker has shed light on the powertrain options. Base models will be equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine producing 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, paired with an intelligently variable transmission.
For those seeking a more spirited driving experience, a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine generating 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque is available, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Despite the limited information about the car’s package, Kia has confirmed a generous array of standard features, including a large digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone integration, heated and ventilated front seats for higher-end trims, a sunroof, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, and an impressive suite of 11 advanced driver assistance systems offered at no additional cost.
