Jeep has streamlined the Compass lineup for 2025, resulting in a less complex model range but higher starting prices. The entry-level Sport now commands a significant premium over its predecessor, while the Latitude has also seen a price increase. Notably, the Latitude Lux trim has been eliminated.

Although the Limited and Trailhawk have received only modest price adjustments, the trend is upward. To offset these increased costs, Jeep has equipped every Compass with a robust suite of advanced safety features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and pedestrian automatic emergency braking.

Additionally, the interior has been modernized with a standard digital instrument cluster and a larger touchscreen infotainment system offering wireless connectivity and charging. Stellantis has taken a strategic approach to the 2025 Jeep Compass by significantly enhancing its standard equipment package to offset the increased pricing.

Even the base Sport trim level now comes equipped with modern features such as LED lighting and heated mirrors, while the Latitude grade has been bolstered with comfort-oriented amenities like heated seats, steering wheel, and remote start.

Consistent across the lineup, automatic climate control, an improved audio system, and a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems are now standard offerings.

Under the hood, there’s a familiar story: the tried-and-true turbocharged 2.0-liter engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission continues to provide power to all four wheels. Jeep’s aim is clear: to raise Compass’s market position by providing a more substantial standard feature set.

However, the question remains whether these additions justify the price premium. As the 2025 Compass prepares to hit dealerships later this year, consumers will have the opportunity to scrutinize the value proposition and determine if the upgraded compact SUV aligns with their expectations and budget.
