While Lamborghini hasn’t yet revealed the Temerario Spyder, it’s only a matter of time before the open-top version joins its coupe sibling. Following the tradition of its predecessors, the Huracan and Gallardo, the Temerario will offer both body styles.
The coupe made its debut at Monterey Car Week, and the Spyder is expected to follow soon after. While no official release date or prototypes have been revealed, the Temerario Spyder will likely be revealed sometime in 2025 with deliveries beginning the following summer.
Although Lamborghini hasn’t showcased the open-top model, digital artists have already begun to envision what it might look like. One such artist, X-Tome, recently shared their unofficial rendering of the Temerario Spyder online, which has quickly gained attention. This realistic depiction offers a look into what the future holds for Lamborghini’s latest addition.
The Lamborghini Temerario Spyder, a digital illustration of the upcoming convertible model, showcases a folding roof that distinguishes it from its fixed-roof counterpart. While the production version may feature a rag top for weight reduction, it’s expected to stow away conveniently behind the seats.
Despite the added weight, performance is anticipated to be comparable to the coupe, with a slight increase in 0-62 mph acceleration and a marginally longer braking distance. Equipped with a powerful 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, the Temerario Spyder delivers a combined output of 907 horsepower.
This formidable powertrain enables it to achieve a top speed of around 213 mph and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in approximately 2.8 or 2.9 seconds.
