Cadillac’s recent lineup expansion, encompassing both ICE and EV models, has garnered significant attention. The refreshed CT5 series, Escalade full-size SUV, and upcoming all-electric Optiq, Vistiq, and Escalade IQ have solidified the brand’s position in the luxury market.

Among these offerings, the 2025 Escalade stands out with its redesigned front fascia and luxurious interior, though its price tag has seen a substantial increase compared to its predecessor.

While the Escalade’s higher trims come with exorbitant MSRPs, digital car content creators often explore more imaginative and unconventional designs. Oscar Vargas, known as wb.artist20, recently revealed a 150% whimsical design project, showcasing the possibilities of automotive creativity beyond the constraints of traditional manufacturing.

Vargas’ design concept, which has garnered considerable attention on social media, features a futuristic and exaggerated interpretation of the Escalade. The vehicle boasts exaggerated proportions, including an elongated body, oversized wheels, and a towering roofline.

The exterior is adorned with bold lines, aerodynamic elements, and futuristic lighting fixtures. The interior, though not fully visible in the renderings, is likely to feature a blend of luxury and technology, with advanced features such as large screens, autonomous driving capabilities, and premium materials.

Vargas’ design project serves as a testament to the boundless creativity of digital car artists and the potential for automotive design to evolve beyond conventional boundaries. While the concept may not be feasible for production, it offers a look into the future of automotive design and the possibilities that exist when imagination and technology are combined.

The CGI artist’s initial concept, based on the 2024 Cadillac Escalade rather than a future model, was ambitious: a convertible full-size SUV with a massive five-piece soft top. Despite its intricate design, the author claimed the open-close process took a surprisingly long five business days. The second row was equally complex, featuring sliding dual seats and a retractable security arch that aligned with the windshield when the top was lowered.

Encouraged by the positive reception to this quirky summer-dwelling Cadillac Escalade convertible, the CGI expert decided to expand the project with a rear POV. This new iteration featured an all-black exterior, a crimson interior, and a glossy hard top, a departure from the previous version’s red exterior, chrome accents, white cockpit, and soft top.

The all-black exterior provided a sleek and minimalist look, contrasting sharply with the vibrant crimson interior. The glossy hard top added a touch of sophistication and elegance, complementing the aesthetic of the vehicle.

The rear POV allowed viewers to experience the convertible from a unique perspective, highlighting the dramatic lines and proportions of the SUV. The sliding dual seats in the second row offered versatility and comfort, while the retractable security arch provided an added layer of safety when the top was lowered.
