Toyota’s iconic Land Cruiser Prado has been given a sinister makeover by the renowned tuning house, Wald International. The new J250 is a testament to the company’s ability to transform vehicles into menacing, off road ready machines.

With its aggressive body kit, lifted suspension, and oversized wheels, the Prado is now more intimidating than ever. The J250’s new appearance is a far cry from its stock counterpart. The front end has been completely redesigned with a new bumper, grille, and headlights.

The bumper features large air intakes and a prominent lip spoiler, while the grille is now darker and more aggressive. The headlights have also been given a more menacing look with new LED accents.

The side profile of the Prado is equally striking. Wide fender flares accommodate the larger wheels and tires, giving the SUV a more muscular stance. The roof has been extended with a new spoiler that adds to the vehicle’s aggressive appearance. While the rear of the Prado is not yet fully visible, we can expect it to feature a new bumper, taillights, and a diffuser.

The rear bumper is likely to incorporate a large skid plate and dual exhaust tips. The J250 is available in both off road and road focused variants. The off road variant features a lifted suspension and all terrain tires, while the road focused variant is lowered and equipped with performance tires. Both variants are sure to turn heads on the road and off. The all new Toyota Land Cruiser is making a triumphant return to America after a two year absence.

The SUV, equipped with a 2.4 liter turbocharged engine integrated into the I-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain, delivers a robust 326 horsepower and 465 pound feet of torque. This formidable powertrain ensures a thrilling driving experience, both on and off road. The Land Cruiser will be available in three distinct grades, each catering to different preferences and needs.

The Land Cruiser 1958, a nod to the iconic legacy of the nameplate, offers a classic and timeless appeal. The standard Land Cruiser strikes a balance between luxury and capability, providing a comfortable and versatile driving experience.

For those seeking the pinnacle of Land Cruiser refinement and exclusivity, the limited run First Edition is the ultimate choice, with its distinctive styling and premium features. While information regarding Wald International’s plans for performance upgrades remains limited, the company is actively preparing to launch a new bodykit that will undoubtedly enhance the Land Cruiser’s visual appeal.

The base Land Cruiser 1958 is priced at $63,445, making it an accessible option for Land Cruiser enthusiasts. Toyota began accepting orders for the new Land Cruiser in April, and the first deliveries are expected to commence this fall.
