Audi has revealed the updated A3 and S3 Sedans for the 2025 model year. The A3 starts at $38,200, while the S3 is priced at $48,700. Both models feature Quattro all wheel drive and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2024. The A3 uses a Haldex-type AWD system, which transfers torque to the rear wheels when needed.
The S3 has a more advanced torque splitter system that can send more torque to the outside rear wheel for better cornering. The S3 also has a drift mode that sends 50% of the torque to the rear wheels, with 100% going to the outside wheel.
Both models are powered by a 2.5-liter TFSI engine. The A3 produces 201 horsepower, while the S3 produces 328 horsepower. Both models are equipped with an S tronic dual-clutch transmission. The refreshed 2025 Audi A3 lineup offers a range of performance and luxury features. Starting with the Premium and Premium Plus trims, the A3 delivers peak torque of 236 and 295 pound-feet, respectively.
The top of the line S3 Prestige boasts an even more powerful engine with 320 pound-feet of torque. Inside, the 2025 A3 features a modern interior with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The S3 adds to the standard equipment with 225/40 by 18-inch tires and optional 235/35 by 19-inch tires, along with a lowered suspension and a slightly higher idle engine speed for improved acceleration.
Additionally, the 2025 A3 lineup offers a variety of advanced safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.
The S3 Prestige also includes features such as a head up display, surround view camera, and a premium sound system. With its combination of performance, luxury, and safety features, the 2025 Audi A3 is a compelling choice for drivers seeking a premium compact sedan.
