The BMW M5 Touring, while not the most thrilling business super wagon on the market, remains a coveted dream car. Its recent introduction of genuine M accessories has further enhanced its appeal, raising its sporty character both inside and out.

These additional features, sourced from BMW’s range of Original Accessories, not only enhance the car’s visual impact but also improve its aerodynamic balance, mirroring the M Carbon exterior package available from the factory.

Crafted from CFRP and aramid, the exterior components add a distinctive touch to the BMW M5 Touring. For those seeking the complete package, the M Performance package offers a rear diffuser, titanium/carbon fiber tailpipe trims, rear fins, and a front splitter.

Additionally, carbon fiber side sill extensions and Frozen Black decals are available. New side mirror casings and other subtle details, such as a redesigned fuel tank cap, further refine the exterior appearance. The BMW M5 Touring, a high performance wagon, has recently received a series of M Performance upgrades.

These enhancements, designed to further raise the vehicle’s already impressive capabilities, include new floor mats featuring a leather look edge and contrasting stitching, a stylish M Performance key cover made of Alcantara and leather with a carbon fiber look, and durable M Performance tire bags equipped with reinforced handles for convenient transportation and storage.

While the M5 Touring’s performance figures remain unchanged from its sedan counterpart, the wagon offers a unique blend of practicality and power. Its 4.4L twin-turbo engine and electric motor produce a combined 717 horsepower and 738 pound-foot of torque, propelling the M5 Touring to 60 mph in an estimated 3.4 seconds. With the M Driver’s Pack, the wagon can reach a top speed of 190 mph, making it one of the fastest wagons on the market.

Recognizing the aftermarket tuning potential of the M5 Touring, several companies are already developing performance upgrades for this model. These modifications, which range from subtle to extreme, include body kits, wheels, interior customizations, and power boosts.

These options allow owners to tailor their M5 Touring to their specific preferences and driving style. The BMW M5 Touring offers a compelling combination of performance, practicality, and luxury.

With its recent M Performance upgrades and the potential for aftermarket customization, the M5 Touring is poised to remain a sought-after choice for those seeking a high-performance wagon that can handle both everyday driving and spirited track sessions.
