While their strategy relies solely on SUVs and crossovers the Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator, and Navigator their main rival, Cadillac, maintains a different approach. Cadillac still boasts a pair of sedans, the CT4 and CT5, both offering high performance variants like the spicy V-Series and the ultra-powerful Blackwing editions.

Furthermore, their SUV lineup dwarfs Lincoln’s, boasting a wider range of models that seamlessly blend traditional gasoline engines with electric power through their IQ lineup. This commitment to electrification extends beyond SUVs, with the addition of the Celestiq, a unique all-electric fastback sedan with a hefty price tag of $340,000.

This contrasting strategy leaves many wondering if Ford will push Lincoln into the electric vehicle market. However, recent news suggests otherwise. Ford cancelled plans for a large, three-row electric SUV, a vehicle that could have competed with rivals like the Rivian R1S and the Cadillac Escalade IQ, and potentially benefited both Ford and Lincoln.
