It’s understandable if the Chrysler Voyager minivan has slipped from memory. Launched in 2020, it was positioned as a more budget-friendly alternative to the Chrysler Pacifica, taking over the base L and LX trims of the latter.

The Voyager also kept the older design before the Pacifica received its facelift in 2021.

By 2022, the Voyager became exclusively available to fleet buyers. However, Chrysler has now confirmed that the Voyager will return to the retail market for 2025, with a starting price of $41,690.

Priced $2,455 lower than the most affordable 2025 Pacifica Select, the Voyager comes with a respectable list of standard features, some of which were not previously available.

Like the Pacifica, it boasts a 10.1-inch touchscreen equipped with Chrysler’s Uconnect 5 infotainment system, complete with Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Voyager also shares the 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster found in the more expensive Pacifica.

Inside, accessed through standard power-sliding rear doors, the Voyager features Black Caprice leatherette seats with Light Diesel stitching accents.

Like its Pacifica sibling, the Voyager offers the Stow ‘n’ Go seating system, which allows the second and third rows to fold flat into the floor, providing a spacious cargo area.

The minivan is also equipped with three-zone climate control, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, and heated front seats and steering wheel.

Driver-assistance technologies include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control.

Chrysler describes the Voyager’s design as “classic,” a subtle way of saying that it maintains the pre-facelift Pacifica look. Completing the rental-car aesthetic are 17-inch wheels.

Under the hood is the same 287-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine found in the non-hybrid Pacifica, generating 262 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission.

For 2025, the Voyager will be offered in a single trim (LX) and three color options: Red Hot, Diamond Black, and Bright White. Orders for the seven-passenger minivan are now open, with deliveries expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
