The Ram 1500 TRX, a formidable off roader with its 702-horsepower V8 engine, has recently been discontinued. This marks the end of an era for the TRX, which was highly praised for its exceptional performance and capabilities.

However, the decision to discontinue the TRX without much fanfare has left many fans disappointed, especially considering the recent string of questionable decisions made by Stellantis.

While some may have hoped for a power upgrade or a new body style to send off the TRX, it seems that the future of Ram’s off road offerings lies with the upcoming 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, which will be powered by a twin turbo inline six engine.

As the TRX fades into the sunset, virtual artists like wb.artist20 are offering a look at what the TRX could have been with their imaginative creations, such as a convertible SUV and truck version.

The digital artist’s vision began with a luxurious Cadillac Escalade Convertible, but he soon realized the heavy duty Ford F-250 Super Duty would be a better fit for his digital creation.

With a collaboration with Cooler King electric bicycles, the artist took the convertible concept one step further, cramming a three piece black top into the bed of a Ram 1500 TRX while still finding room for two bikes. The trick was a hidden compartment behind the rear seats where the top was stored vertically.

The Ram 1500 TRX is already a formidable off-road vehicle, but with the addition of dual roll bars and the ability to carry two electric bikes, it becomes even more versatile. Whether you’re exploring rugged trails or simply commuting to work, this truck is capable of handling anything you throw at it.

The 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine in the Ram 1500 TRX is a powerhouse, delivering ample power and torque for exhilarating performance. While it’s not essential for a convertible like this, it would certainly add an extra level of excitement and capability.

Ultimately, the decision of whether to bring back the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 pickup truck for a Ram 1500 TRX convertible is a matter of personal preference. However, there’s no denying that this unique creation has the potential to be a game changer in the automotive world.
