Did you know that the Lexus LC500 is among the poorest-selling vehicles in America? It’s true—Lexus has only sold 1,294 units so far this year.
However, this fact shouldn’t deter you from purchasing one (if your budget allows). For 2025, Lexus is introducing a few subtle updates to its impressive, V-8-powered sports car.
The Lexus LC500 enters 2025 with minor enhancements and a slightly increased price tag. The starting price is now $100,425, including destination fees—a modest rise of $625 compared to the previous year’s model.
The hybrid version is priced at $103,575, while the convertible sits at the top with a cost of $107,625. Although the 2025 LC lineup doesn’t feature many significant changes, there are some updates worth noting.
The most notable addition is the new underfloor braces, which enhance the car’s rigidity. Additionally, a new Iridium Silver paint option has been introduced, available across the entire LC lineup.
This color, borrowed from the IS sedan and RX SUV, adds a fresh touch to the model range. For the hybrid, the Sport package now includes a carbon fiber scuff plate.
Along with the new Iridium paint option, the LC500 Convertible offers a choice of red or blue roof colors. Previously exclusive to the Bespoke Build, these colors are now available as standalone options.
Unfortunately, no changes have been made to the powertrain for 2025. Every LC500 continues to feature the same naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V-8 engine, which produces 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque.
This setup enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed of 168 miles per hour. The engine remains paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Will these slight updates boost sales? Likely not. But the LC500 continues to stand as one of the few remaining naturally aspirated V-8 touring cars, and that alone should be reason enough to appreciate it.
