The Chevrolet Colorado, introduced in 2023, initially offered two engine options: the L2R and the L3B. The L3B came in both standard and high output tunes. For 2024, GM dropped the standard tune of the L3B, and in 2025, the L2R followed suit, leaving only the high-output L3B.
GM’s fleet order guide for the 2025 Colorado lists the TurboMax engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The L2R previously produced 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. The L2R and L3B differ in terms of hardware, transmission, and fuel economy.
The 2025 Chevrolet Colorado lineup has undergone a series of changes. The LT trim has been replaced with the LT Appearance and Convenience Package for the WT trim, resulting in a lineup that now consists of the WT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.
Additionally, the color palette has been refreshed with the introduction of Sunrise Orange, Snowdrift Metallic, and Reef Blue Metallic, while Nitro Yellow Metallic, Sand Dune Metallic, and Glacier Blue Metallic have been discontinued.
The Z71 trim has also lost its 20-inch Dark Android wheels, but new wheel options are available in a variety of sizes and finishes. Standard equipment across all trims includes DLF outside heated power adjustable mirrors.
Dealer installed options include a five digit programmable keypad, an underbody transfer case shield for the WT with four wheel drive, and a high rise intake (also known as a snorkel) for the Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. While pricing for the 2025 model has not yet been announced, the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado WT 2WD is priced at $29,800 plus $1,595 for destination.
