The U.S. automotive industry is heating up as the year draws to a close. General Motors, Toyota, and Ford are battling for the top spot, with GM currently leading the pack. Toyota is close behind, and Ford is not far off. Lincoln, however, is struggling to compete with Cadillac and Lexus.

The upcoming 2025 Lincoln Navigator may help to improve Lincoln’s performance, but the digital car content creators have some even wilder ideas. Vince Burlapp, a prolific virtual artist, has created some imaginative concepts for Lincoln models that could help the brand stand out.

For example, Burlapp has envisioned a Lincoln Aviator with a more aggressive and sporty design. The concept features a lowered stance, larger wheels, and a more aerodynamic body.

Burlapp has also created a concept for a Lincoln Zephyr sedan. The concept is more luxurious than the production model, with features such as a longer wheelbase, more comfortable seats, and a more advanced technology package. These are just a few examples of the creative concepts that digital car content creators have come up with for Lincoln.

If Lincoln can take inspiration from these concepts, it may be able to improve its performance and compete more effectively with Cadillac and Lexus. Given Ford Motor Company’s recent announcement by CEO Jim Farley that they will focus on iconic models like the Bronco and Mustang rather than more mainstream vehicles, a digital artist has envisioned a new Lincoln Continental convertible.

This four door, four-seater luxury sedan would revive the historic Continental nameplate in the United States. While such a vehicle may not be commercially viable in today’s SUV-dominated market, it serves as a fascinating thought experiment and a tribute to the brand’s heritage. The Continental convertible could potentially offer a unique and luxurious driving experience, combining the spaciousness and comfort of a sedan with the open-air freedom of a convertible.

Imagine cruising down a coastal highway in this elegant vehicle, feeling the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. The design could incorporate classic Continental styling elements, such as the signature grille and sweeping lines, while also incorporating modern touches to appeal to contemporary consumers.

Of course, the practicality of a four door convertible may be questioned, as it could be more difficult to load and unload passengers and cargo compared to a traditional sedan or SUV. Additionally, the added complexity and cost associated with a convertible roof may make it less appealing to some buyers.

Nevertheless, the Lincoln Continental convertible concept remains a compelling vision of what the future could hold for the iconic luxury brand. While it may not become a reality, it serves as a reminder of Lincoln’s rich history and the potential for innovative and exciting new models.
