General Motors has enhanced its Chevy Silverado EV for 2025, offering a wider range of options and features to cater to various needs. Starting with the work oriented WT grade, the introduction of a Max Range option significantly increases its driving range.
The RST grade also boasts a more extended range, while the new LT grade adds another level of choice for buyers. In terms of pricing, the WT Standard Range is expected to be available later in the year with a starting price of $57,095.
The WT Extended Range offers a range of 422 miles for $69,495. However, the standout is the WT Max Range, delivering an impressive 492 miles on a full charge and priced at $77,795.
This makes it the electric truck with the longest range currently available in the US market, surpassing the range offered by Tesla’s Cybertruck, Rivian’s R1T, and Ford’s F-150 Lightning. For those seeking a more luxurious option, the LT grade is available with the Extended Range battery pack only. It offers an estimated range of 408 miles in the standard configuration and 390 miles with the LT Premium Package.
Prices for the LT start at $75,195 and $81,995, respectively. It’s important to note that the full $7,500 federal tax credit applies to vehicles priced under $80,000, including SUVs and vans. The Chevrolet Silverado EV offers a range of features and performance options to suit various needs.
The base LT model includes a Multi-Flex Tailgate, a large touchscreen, illuminated front bowtie, 18-inch wheels, fast charging capability, and a substantial towing capacity. The LT Premium Package adds features like Super Cruise and larger wheels.
For those seeking maximum range, the RST trim offers the Max Range battery pack, which is estimated to provide up to 460 miles of range. The RST Extended Range option offers a slightly shorter range of 390 miles. The Silverado EV RST is available in six paint colors, including the exclusive Zephyr Blue Matte Metallic.
Pricing for the RST Extended and Max Range starts at $89,395 and $97,895, respectively. The Work Truck trim also offers additional paint color options, including Slate Gray. The LT model is available in six paint colors, with Blue Smoke Metallic being exclusive to this trim.
All versions of the Silverado EV are manufactured at the Factory ZERO Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Michigan. The BT1 platform used for the Silverado EV is also shared with other General Motors electric vehicles, such as the GMC Sierra EV, GMC Hummer twins, and the Cadillac Escalade IQ.
