While Jeep’s Renegade and Compass have reached a significant milestone of one million units sold in Europe, the brand’s US sales have taken a hit. The company’s deliveries fell by 17% in the first nine months of the year, falling short of the one million mark.
Even Jeep, a beloved brand in the US, has struggled to maintain its momentum. To celebrate the European achievement, Jeep has introduced the North Star special edition for both the Renegade and Compass.
This limited edition model is designed to embody the brand’s spirit of adventure and rugged capability. The North Star will be positioned between the Altitude and Summit trims, offering a stylish and powerful option for European customers.
The North Star special edition features a unique dual-tone color scheme, black alloy wheels, black trim across the body, a dedicated hood decal, and an exclusive new Technogreen, a dark metallic green. These exterior enhancements complement the vehicle’s rugged character and make it stand out from the crowd.
While the US market presents challenges for Stellantis, the company’s continued success in Europe demonstrates the global appeal of the Jeep brand. The Renegade and Compass, in particular, have played a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the brand’s presence in the region.
The Jeep Renegade and Compass North Star models are set to receive a fresh update for 2025, featuring a striking new Technogreen exterior color and a host of green accents throughout the interior.
To enhance durability, the North Star models will also be equipped with innovative, high resistance seats upholstered in a material that is three times more durable than the fabric used in the Altitude grade.
Adding to the visual appeal, the Renegade and Compass North Star will come standard with a dual-pane sunroof finished in black, contrasting beautifully with the Technogreen body color. Other exterior enhancements include roof rails, LED fog lamps, black logo elements, bespoke badges, and stylish wheels in black.
Under the hood, the 2025 Renegade and Compass North Star will exclusively offer Hybrid 48V and 4xe powertrain options, reflecting Jeep’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency. This aligns with the global trend towards greener transportation solutions.
Notably, the next-generation Compass, set to launch soon, will be built on the STLA Medium architecture, providing flexibility for various powertrain options, including internal combustion engines, hybrids, and all electric variants.
