Rolls-Royce, a renowned luxury automaker, is making waves with its recent releases. Following the introduction of the controversial yet highly sought-after Cullinan ultra luxury SUV, the company has now revealed the Ghost Series II sedan, a refined and sophisticated addition to its lineup.

Despite its relatively low production volume, Rolls-Royce consistently sets new sales records year after year. Consequently, the launch of a new model or a significant update is always a major event. The Phantom VIII Series II, introduced in 2022 for the 2023 model year, has already gained immense popularity in the aftermarket scene.

Similarly, the Cullinan Series II, available for the 2025 model year, has quickly become a canvas for customization enthusiasts in the United States. Known for its bespoke creations, Rolls-Royce has showcased unique commissions such as the all electric Spectre Lunaflair, the Phantom Scintilla Private Collection, and the bright yellow Spectre at the Semaphore Bespoke event.

However, the company now seeks to expand its reach with a more mainstream approach, while still maintaining its signature style. The Ghost Series II, priced at a starting point of $355,000, is expected to become Rolls-Royce’s best-selling passenger car in the near future. This “entry-level” saloon features subtle enhancements that distinguish it from its predecessor without causing controversy, unlike the Cullinan Series II.

Under the hood, the Ghost Series II retains the powerful N74 engine sourced from BMW, ensuring ample performance. Available in both regular and Black Badge configurations, the Ghost Series II has fascinated audiences with its “daring expression of luxury and power.” Even in digital renderings, the car’s striking design has garnered attention.

The digital car design, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Black Badge has sparked some creative reimagining. One virtual artist, j.b.cars, has taken a particularly bold approach, envisioning the Black Badge not as a sleek sedan, but as a spacious and luxurious station wagon.

This concept might raise eyebrows among Rolls-Royce traditionalists, but it’s not entirely outlandish. The brand already offers an SUV, and a wagon could provide even more practical cargo space for the discerning owner.

Imagine a haven for bespoke picnic sets, sporting equipment, or anything else that demands a touch of automotive elegance. Could this Ghost Wagon transcend the digital world and become a reality, commissioned by a client smitten with its unique blend of luxury and practicality?
